Program
Program Tactile Rubik's Cube Presentation
My name is Dev Shah, and I'm a high school student at Wilcox High School in Sunnyvale, California. Rubik's cubes have been a huge part of my life for many years. I have competed in official World Cube Association competitions and placed 8th in an international competition for the 2×2 event.
Cubing has taught me a lot about problem-solving and perseverance, and I've always wanted to share that excitement with others. Recently, I designed and 3D-printed a tactile 2×2 Rubik's cube for individuals who are blind or have visual impairments. Instead of using colors, each face has a unique shape so the cube can be solved entirely through touch. I built this because I wanted more people to be able to experience the challenge and fun of cubing, even if traditional cubes aren't accessible to them.
Raffle
Over the years, our chapter has been gifted many interesting and useful items. Several of these, including a tactile Rubik’s cube, will be featured in the upcoming raffle. Tickets purchased are not tax deductible and are classified as gifts.
