SVCB member Lynnette Kersey is tentatively scheduled to speak in the program segment. She's involved with braille, and she'll be telling us what she's doing way up in Eagle Point Oregon.
Silent Auction

Last bidding is at the November membership meeting. Here is a list of items:
The first item is a Toshiba 1 terabyte portable USB 3.0 drive, which powers from your device's USB port. A Legacy 3.0 to 2.0 cable is included. The starting bid is $10.
The second item is two single, 100% polyurethane foam mattresses. They are 26 inches wide by 72 inches long when unfolded. Both of them have 100% cotton covers. One cover has an autumn floral pattern on a rust-colored background. The other cover has a pattern of scattered flowers on a blue, gray and black patterned background. The tags say that they do not meet California Bureau of Home Furnishings flammability requirements. Care should be exercised near open flame or with burning cigarettes. They would be great for camping or if you need an emergency mattress for guests or grandchildren. You can bid on them together or separately. The starting bid is $20 each.
The third item is two new Berkshire holiday throw-type blankets. The dimensions for both are 55 inches by 70 inches. One blanket is solid light blue, and the other blanket has a snowman pattern on a light blue background. Both blankets would be perfect as gifts.
Buffet Caddy from Mesa Inspired Living. Versatile 2-piece buffet set that can either be stacked or set side by side. Starting bid $15. Matte black finish with rustic wood handles and woven accents. Dimensions of Base and Plate Holder is 16.8 x 8.5 x 7 inches. Dimensions of Utensil and Napkin Holder 16.9 x 8.2 x 6.1 inches.
Metal luggage cart and bungy cord. Starting bid $5.
Suzanne Somers Somersize Electric Grill. Starting bid $10. Grilling surface is two metal plates that come together when closed. The surface is rippled, not flat. It's a 9 x 7 inch rectangle. No user manual.
Two blankets with starting bids of $5. The first one is a new 50 x 60 inch Sherpa Throw Blanket. It is a soft brown in color. It would make a nice gift. The other blanket would be a perfect light weight baby blanket. It is 33 1/2 x 61 inches. The pattern is smiley faces in very bright colors.
